SHABA is our individual business loan — for anyone running a biashara that is at least 6 months old, with an M-Pesa number. SHABA KILIMO is our group loan for farmers — chamas of women and young people doing poultry (kuku), dairy (maziwa) or horticulture (mboga na matunda) apply together as a group. Both give KSh 5,000–100,000, need no collateral, and send money straight to M-Pesa.

Example: borrow KSh 30,000, repay 39,000 in 30 days, or just 36,300 by day 21 — you save 2,700. SHABA KILIMO (farmer groups): 10% for the cycle — borrow 30,000, repay 33,000. First-timers also pay a one-off KSh 500 registration — it is never deducted from your loan; you receive the full amount.
